The research found that Echeveria is not only rich in minerals and fiber but also has significant restorative effects on chemically and alcohol-damaged liver cells, demonstrating notable liver protection and antioxidant properties. As a result, the Agricultural and Food Agency promoted industry-university collaboration, asking National Chiayi University to further develop Echeveria into a food product. With the university's assistance, Wei Shen Echeveria Farm was also able to develop and launch the product "Echeveria Green Multi" (Echeveria Fermented Milk).
